What the owners love:

What we’ve loved most about living here is the feeling of having the best of both worlds. The Woodlands has such a genuine village atmosphere - we know our neighbours, there’s always something going on at the village hall, and it’s just a really warm, friendly place to be. It feels calm and tucked away, but then you realise you’re only about 30 minutes from central London, which has been incredibly convenient.

The flat itself has always felt really special to us. It’s so light and bright throughout the day, and the period features give it a character that’s hard to find - it never felt like just another flat when we first saw it, and that hasn’t changed.

Our garden is probably what we’ll miss the most. In the summer especially, we spend most evenings out there - it ends up feeling like an extra living space. Sitting out in the hot tub at the end of the day, it’s very easy to forget you’re still in London.

Why we would buy this home:

The living spaces are a seamless blend of timeless charm and contemporary comfort. Whether it’s a cosy summer's evening in the living room with a welcome breeze from the unique floor-to-ceiling heritage doors, retreating to the quiet sanctuary of one of the bedrooms, or entertaining friends in the modern kitchen & dining area, there is an unmistakable feeling of "home" in every corner.

The garden is a hidden paradise - an expansive, walled garden that feels like a world of its own. Enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, a weekend barbecue, a dip in the hot-tub or a quiet morning coffee. And the outbuilding is a huge bonus with multiple potential uses.

Situated on one of Isleworth’s most picturesque streets, the location offers a rare villagey atmosphere within the city. You are just a gentle stroll away from the shimmering riverside and excellent local amenities, along with excellent transport links into central London, the airport and beyond.
