What the owners love ❤️

We bought Green Avenue a year after getting married, over 16 years ago now. I remember walking in and seeing the living room and immediately picturing where the Christmas tree would go - apparently a good sign! We started our married life in this house, and had our eldest daughter's first year here. We then moved to Asia for 9 years, and came back to it with two children, a dog and ourselves. We knew in our heads we had really outgrown it, but it still worked for us for the subsequent four plus years.

We love the location, so close to Lammas and Blondin Parks, as well as the canals where we both enjoy running along, all the way to Brentford, Syon and Richmond. Our daughters have been to Fielding Primary School, and then Elthorne High School, and Ealing Fields - all fantastic state schools.

The community is great, and our neighbours on Green Avenue will be sorely missed (particularly no. 24!) We have great pubs on our doorstep (The Plough, The Grosvenor, Rose and Crown and many more), lovely local shops and transport into town is easy with the Picadilly Line. Ealing Broadway is a nice walk through the park, which takes around 15-20 mins, and then you've got the Central Line and Elizabeth Line too. If we hadn't outgrown the house itself we would definitely stay, and we will be very sad to say goodbye to what's been our family home for so long!

You might find a shorter walk to catch your Elizabeth Line tube but you won’t find a nicer way to get your daily steps in. The walk from your gorgeous three-storey family home takes in both Lammas and Walpole Parks en route to Ealing Broadway.

There’s a belt-busting selection of independent food shops and cafés just around the corner on Northfield Avenue. You’ll certainly appreciate being so close to the parks and the canal so you can run off all those delicious calories!

And if you’re looking for big-name retailers or a cheeky Nando’s, Ealing Broadway is only 25 minutes walk away from the parks.

The new Elizabeth Line from Ealing Broadway cuts the journey time to Canary Wharf to under half an hour. With Northfields station on the Piccadilly Line being only 5 minutes walk away, you’ve always got a Plan B.

If you have children or are thinking of starting a family, the fantastic local schools will be another great reason to move here.

Fielding Primary School (rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted) is just over 5 minutes walk away, so you can say goodbye to school run traffic or parking stress.

For older kids, Elthorne Park High School (another ‘Outstanding’ school) is only 5 minutes walk or a 5 minute bike ride away.
