What the owner loves:

This home has given me so much peace and happiness over the years, and there is so much I will genuinely miss about living here. One of the standout features has to be the sheer amount of indoor space and the fantastic layout, which makes everyday living feel incredibly comfortable. Having both a front and back garden has also been a massive bonus, offering a beautiful, private outdoor sanctuary to relax in.

The location gives you the best of both worlds. We are right by the expansive Gunnersbury Park, so you are always surrounded by plenty of beautiful greenery for walks and fresh air. Yet, for commuting and getting around, the easy access to the M4 and M25 is exceptionally convenient.

The road itself has a lovely, settled feel to it - it's a very pleasant, family-oriented neighbourhood. My immediate next-door neighbours are wonderful people with whom I get on incredibly well, while the rest of the street is full of nice, quiet people who respect your privacy and mind their own business. Combined with a brilliant local school catchment, it’s just a truly peaceful and welcoming place to call home.

Why we’d buy it

Some homes are bigger than they first appear. This one is on another level entirely.

From the street, it looks like a charming period terrace. Step inside and you’ll discover over 1,100 sq ft of beautifully proportioned living accommodation, complemented by a substantial loft, a detached rear garage with studio space, and exciting potential to extend further, subject to the usual consents.

The ground floor strikes an excellent balance between character and practicality. A welcoming bay-fronted reception room provides a cosy retreat, while the generous sitting room flows effortlessly through to the kitchen and dining area, creating a sociable space that naturally connects with the garden. It’s easy to imagine family dinners, summer barbecues and children running between inside and out.

Upstairs are three bedrooms and a family bathroom, while the loft offers valuable additional space that’s perfect for storage today and could present further opportunities tomorrow.

The rear garage is a real differentiator. Whether you’re looking for secure parking, a workshop, a home gym, studio or office, it’s the sort of versatile space that’s increasingly difficult to find in West London.

Then there’s the location. Park Place sits within the highly sought-after Gunnersbury Triangle, just moments from the open green spaces of Gunnersbury Park and a short walk from Acton Town station, placing the Piccadilly and District lines within easy reach. Excellent schools, independent cafés and superb road connections complete the picture.

It’s the sort of home that adapts as life changes. Whether you’re upsizing, growing your family or simply looking for a house with genuine long-term potential, this is one that deserves your attention.
